B13 CLASS 4-6-0 LOCOMOTIVE

B13 Number 48 is currently awaiting restoration at Ipswich Workshops. This locomotive was built built by Dubs & Co in 1883 with works number 1741. Number 48 entered service in September 1883. This locomotive was fitted with a deep firebox in November 1903. Number 48 was retired from revenue service in July 1938. Number 48 was then sold to Bingera Sugar Mill in 1944.
